Issues

1. Interpretation of AZ Constitution and Limited Government

I believe the Arizona Constitution should be interpreted as it was originally intended—protecting individual liberties and limiting government overreach. Mohave County doesn’t need Phoenix bureaucrats making local decisions. Rural communities deserve self-governance, not mandates.

2. Support for Citizen Initiatives and Referenda

I strongly support the right of Arizona voters to propose and pass citizen initiatives. However, we must reform the process to prevent outside special interests from flooding Arizona with radical policies that don’t reflect rural values.

3. Support for Tax Cuts and Fiscal Responsibility

I support cutting income taxes, eliminating unnecessary state fees, and stopping tax increases that punish working families and retirees. Fiscal discipline is critical—especially for rural Arizona where families already stretch every dollar.

4. Plan for Addressing Budget Shortfalls Without Raising Taxes

Arizona’s budget problems should be solved by cutting waste, consolidating programs, and focusing spending on essential services—not by raising taxes. I will vote against any budget that includes tax hikes on rural families or small businesses.

5. Support for School Choice and Education Reform

Mohave families deserve access to the best educational opportunities—public, charter, private, homeschool, or online. I support full funding for Empowerment Scholarship Accounts and policies that let parents choose what’s best for their kids.

6. Position on Curriculum Transparency and Parental Rights

Parents are the primary educators of their children. I support curriculum transparency, banning CRT and gender ideology in the classroom, and giving parents final authority over what their children are taught.

7. Reducing Occupational Licensing Requirements

I support slashing burdensome licensing requirements, especially for tradespeople and independent contractors in rural Arizona. We need to expand opportunities, not add more government hurdles.

8. Rollback of Regulations on Energy/Mining/Development

Mohave County depends on responsible use of our land and natural resources. I will fight to roll back state regulations that block energy production, mining, and private development—especially when they harm jobs and landowners’ rights.

9. Support for Second Amendment (Permitless Carry, etc.)

I’m a staunch defender of the Second Amendment. Mohave residents don’t need government permission to defend themselves. I oppose red flag laws and will fight any attempt to erode our gun rights.

10. Support for Empowering State Law Enforcement at the Border

I support giving DPS, sheriffs, and local law enforcement the tools and authority to address illegal immigration, drug trafficking, and cartel activity—especially when federal leadership fails.

11. Use of State Funds for Border Security

Absolutely. If D.C. won’t secure the border, Arizona must. I support using state funds to complete barriers, deploy tech, and protect rural border regions and drug corridors that impact Mohave.

13. Plans for Infrastructure Investment Without Tax Increases

Mohave needs better roads, broadband, and water infrastructure. I support smart infrastructure investments by cutting waste, using federal matches, and prioritizing rural needs—without raising taxes.

14. Approach to Arizona’s Water Crisis

I’ll support rural-focused water policy—building more storage, investing in water-saving technologies, and opposing any attempt to divert water from rural Arizona to Phoenix. Mohave must protect its water future.

15. Support for Election Integrity Reforms (ID, Audits, etc.)

I support voter ID, proof of citizenship, hand-count audits, and banning ballot harvesting. We must restore public trust in our elections and ensure every legal vote counts—once.
